Ordinary Mesa's services
are well-suited for small businesses and not-for-profit organizations.
Our services are tailored to meet your needs — you will not
find pre-designed templates in use here. Because we are a small
company working with small organizations, we often add services
as needs arise. Our standard offerings follow.
Development
Ordinary Mesa can develop your web site starting from the ground
up. We can help you with goal-setting, defining audiences, developing
content, programming and design. We can host your web site, register
your domain name and other technical details. We can even help you
set up an e-commerce site or develop mailing lists for your online
publications.
Because development
tends to be completely individualized and involves a significant
portion of one-on-one time between your company and Ordinary Mesa,
we quote all development projects individually, usually after a
one-hour consultation to determine your needs.
Design
Whether you are looking for a redesign of an existing site, a new
look for an old site or just some minor design updating, Ordinary
Mesa can help. We can create a corporate look from scratch —
something you can carry over into your print materials — or
we can use your existing marketing materials and develop a web site
from there. We can even help develop a web presence for a stand-alone
web site.
Maintenance
Do you have designers that don't want the ugly task of posting new content every month, week or day? Do your staff members hide every time you mention that the web site content needs to be freshened up? Are your visitors starting to comment on the most recent items being from the last millenium? Ordinary Mesa offers three maintenance plans to meet your needs. So, whether you are looking for content updated on a daily, weekly or monthly basis, or if your needs are even more sporadic, we can work with you.
Nearly all of the services
offered by Ordinary Mesa can be performed as part of a maintenance
plan. All you do is provide us with FTP access to your current web
server, give us copies of your original files and we will do the
rest. Ordinary Mesa can even host your site, although we do work
with many of our clients' existing service providers.
Promotion
Online promotion is critical to most web sites, but is probably
the most overlooked aspect of an online presence. Most sites can
benefit greatly from an online promotion program. Included in most
promotion packages are: tailoring meta tags on your site for
better search engine performance; specialized hand submissions in
all major search engines and directories; ethical, online promotions
to improve your rankings (NO SPAM!); training for you and your
staff in how you can help improve your rankings; and specialized
suggestions for making changes to your site that will improve your
rankings.
Hosting
Ordinary Mesa offers hosting for our regular clients and the public
in general. Our hosting plans are inexpensive, but offer everything
you need to manage a professional web site: a web based control
panel, bandwidth monitoring, web statistics, FTP access, email accounts,
e-mail forwarders, mailing groups, e-mail auto-responders, CGI-BIN,
Perl 5 support and more.
